30 Days of Summer Photography Challenge

So, I just finished up 30 days of Color and am ready to get started on Summer. I actually took the class in July and saved it, and have been taking a few pictures here and there. This one is fun because summer just is. I love summer!

Day 1 is What Summer means to you. To me it means family get togethers!

Day 2 is water

Day 3 is a centered subject

Day 4 is BBQ- we got a new one this year that David loves!

Day 5 is a beverage- This is the best Grape Juice I have ever had and you can only get it in South Africa

Day 6 is wide open spaces or landscape

Day 7 is subtle beauty

Day 8 is collections. Mary Cicely Barker is one of my favorite children's illustrators. She did the Flower Fairies Series. I have her original books as well as some figurines that we have put in flower fairy garden baskets

Day 9 is an abstract picture of a shape

Day 10 is a Scene to Remember- I have always wanted to see the Alamo

Day 11 is indulge yourself- Abby and I went and got a pedicure. It was her first time and she love it

Day 12 is solitude

Day 13 is fruit

Day 14 is showing a summer breeze. I might keep trying on this one

Day 15 is a Postcard Picture

Day 16 is showing the soft light of a summer evening

17 is out of the ordinary- I love sitting out in the summer evenings and I had my new telephoto lens to play with.

Day 18 is playing

Day 19 is jumping

Day 20 is repetition- This is repetition of a sort. People who come early to lay their blanket out around the BYU Stadium and watch the fireworks from the "Stadium of Fire" Concert for free

Day 21 is all sky

Day 22 is inspiration from a song. I chose "Kiss Me" by Sixpence 

Kiss me out of the bearded barley, 

Nightly, beside the green, green grass

Day 23 is a water shot. Technically this was in September in Mozambique- my first view of the Indian Ocean but I still consider September summer

Day 24 is shadows

Day 25 is 3 images

Day 26 is silhouette 

Day 27- Laughter

Day 28 is Spin Shot- This is my favorite Japanese Maple tree

Day 29 is Bare Foot'in

Day 30 is a sunset. This was taken in Kruger National Park which was technically in its Spring. Oh well
