Mexican Riviera Cruise, Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta

February 2010- We realized Rick was leaving us to go on a mission soon and then he would really be gone since college and marriage would probably be after that. So we decided to do something we hadn't done before and that was take just our older kids on a cruise vacation. We had a great time. The kids made lots of friends and there were lots of LDS kids there as well.

I tried a backlit shot the night we sailed

I loved the reflections in Ricks glasses the whole trip- It takes me back to the 80's
Me and my beautiful daughters

Royal Carribbean Mariner of the Seas

Laying out was one of our favorite things to do since we came from so much snow

Fine dining was one of the kids favorite things to do

Lovers Beach at Cabo San Lucas from the boat

Cabo San Lucas

I love Marina's- lots of fun pictures

The city

Shopping

We took a boat ride out to the arch

The family

We saw lots of lazy Sea Lions

We spent a couple of hours on Lovers Beach

David took lots of film with our little Flip

A view of our ship from Lovers Beach

Cute Abby taking some pictures for some people- looks like she knows how

Loved the colorful Kyaks

Leaving Cabo

Mazatlan- we climbed to the top of the Lighthouse. It was awesome!

The view of Mazatlan from the Lighthouse

After climbing the lighthouse we took a tour of the city with a nice guy and a truck with 8 seats in the back. It was perfect. He came driving up just as we finished with our hike

He took us to see the divers

This was also a favorite on the boat

I looked out the window as we were sitting in the hot tub and saw this whale jumping. He put on quite a show for us. There was also a smaller whale

This was our view of Puerto Vallarta from the boat

We spent the day on the beach. Rick snuck in the s on the end while Anna was not watching. I thought it was hilarious and fitting but Anna didn't

We took a walk along the Maricon which is a shopping district along the beach

Rex being the ham as usual

We loved eating nice dinners together every night. This was Rick and Rex's first bow tie experience. We were all a little sunburned

We loved the lobster!

The boat had all kinds of fun things to do like, rock climbing, basketball, volleyball, dodge ball, ice skating, miniature golf, a video arcade and more

Our last day- we are going to miss Ricky!

  1. This is such a great resource that you are providing and you give it away for free. I love seeing websites that understand the value of providing a quality resource for free. It is the old what goes around comes around routine.
