I took this 45 minute tour back in April and it was amazing! You can see why this area is called the geological wonder of the world. We couldn't actually fly over the canyon but we flew by the most beautiful vista of Zion in my opinion. We flew over Smiths Mesa and then out over Gooseberry Mesa and back. These pictures are in order but I was able to take pictures out of both sides of the back of the helicopter. The pilot asked us if we wanted the doors off and we said yes. I didn't know you could do that but we did and it was great. There wasn't much wind but it was cold. I would recommend tight fitting gloves to keep working your camera though remember, I went in April. During the summer its probably a lot warmer. I felt perfectly safe buckled in and I had the greatest view! This tour is from Hurricane and well worth it! It was $200 and you had to have at least two people. I was alone but went with another lady who had already scheduled the flight.
